A Skilled Worker visa has replaced the Tier 2 (General) work visa and allows an individual to come to or stay in the UK to do an eligible job with an approved employer.In the UK this is predominantly utilised to employee candidates under job code 2136.

Once the company has issued the sponsorship certificate and you have completed your visa application along with providing supporting identity documents, it can take on average 8 weeks to receive a decision and the visa from the UKVI.

You will be required to pay the CoS fee, Immigration Health Surcharge, Visa application fee and any other fees that may be associated with the process, e.g. cost of biometric information appointment and English language test.

You should keep copies of receipts and/or confirmations of all the fees you pay in relation to the application process and provide us with copies. You will then be reimbursed once you supplied evidence of all costs and have commenced employment with us.

The documents required to apply for a Skilled Worker Visa include:

• Certificate of sponsorship reference number;
• Identity documents (most commonly a passport but additional documents may be required depending on the country of issue)
• Providing knowledge of English language if applicable (Through qualifications or a SELT where you are assessed on your reading, writing, speaking and listening abilities)
• LeoVegas UK’s sponsor license number

Each family member will need to complete a separate application for a dependent visa and pay the applicable visa fees. They will need to include the worker’s application number in order to submit their visa application, as well as prove their identity following the process explained above. The same waiting times will also apply.

However, please note we will not be responsible for paying any associated costs for a dependent’s visa application.
