Through LeoCares, LeoVegas Group involves employees in making a meaningful difference by having a say in the local causes the business supports. This employee-led approach ensures contributions are grounded in the values and priorities of the people closest to the communities where we operate.
LeoCares is LeoVegas Group’s community impact initiative, reflecting our ongoing commitment to strengthening the communities where we live and work.
Over the past year, LeoVegas Group supported local communities by donating a total of €18,500 across their offices to charities chosen by employees across Sweden, the UK, Malta, Gibraltar, Colombia, Málaga and The Netherlands.
Our teams once again selected charities through a voting process, choosing organisations that resonated most strongly with both their personal values and local community needs. The supported causes included hospice care, animal shelters, funding cancer research, and services providing transport for cancer patients travelling to and from hospital for chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment.
Several of our teams visited charities to deliver donations in person and learn more about their impactful work. Highlights included our Malta team visiting Hospice Malta, where our contribution is helping fund a new 24/7 In-Patient Unit; our Colombia team visiting Hablemos por Ellos, an animal shelter covering the cost of care for over 200 rescued animals; and our UK team visiting Daft as a Brush, where our support powered four ambulances for a month, transporting cancer patients from home to hospital to receive treatment.
